blanket coats...the fashion industry's reply to the snuggie

Yesterday, I came across a picture of a girl wearing a coat similar to one that I have. It was a blanket coat and they were pretty big at NYFW this season. The kind of blanket coat I'm talking about is usually made of a Navajo blanket (big shocker there) and has a unique piping lining the edges so they won't fray.

We can see here that you can wear a blanket coat with classy men's wear and still look like you're not wearing a blanket. This goes out to all the girls who think you can't be warm and still look fashionable: there are ways! You just have to be a little stealth about it. So bottom line: all snuggies should be burned now that they are obsolete...just kidding. But seriously guys, no snuggies.
